FALL UPDATE

JD has been on the go this fall! He survived a whirlwind home football season at PSU, a great visit from his "big" cousins Jack and Eli, lots of playtime with cousin Noah and "Peanut", Halloween fun at Mommy's school, another trip to the zoo, and a 9 month check up!

His latest 9 month stats are:

Weight: 20.5 lbs

Length: 30.5 inches

Long and lean....like his Dad....used to be, right Uncle Tim and Uncle Matt?

Summer Fun

A lot has happened since JD's last update! The summer was filled with many milestones including JD's baptism, first Father's Day, family vacation, dunk in the pool, trip to the zoo, walk on the beach, and taste of "real food." He loves to be on the go and is such a happy, content, and funny little guy....even while welcoming 4 new teeth!

We've had a GREAT first summer with him. Mommy is counting down the days until she enters first grade, while daddy and JD are counting down the days until PSU kicks off...September will be busy!

JD's latest 6 month stats:

Weight: 17lbs 12 oz (50th percentile)

Length: 28 3/4 inches (97th percentile)

2 bottom and 2 top teeth :)

JD's 4 Month Update

It's been another busy month for JD! He has started laughing out loud, rolling over, bouncing in his doorway jumper, and having lots of fun during the day with Ms. Sally and Cecilia while Mommy and Daddy are at work.

During the month of May, JD enjoyed Mother's Day, Baba Radio's 90th birthday, Jack, Eli and Uncle Matt's visit from Germany, Memorial Day at cousin Noah's, his first pool opening, and first sleepover at Grammy and Pop Pop's.

We're looking forward to all that June will bring, especially the end of school for Mommy, JD's baptism, and cousin Noah's 1st Birthday!!!

JD's 3 Month Update!

The last two months have gone so fast! JD is so much fun and is showing more personality each day! He's an active little guy constantly moving his arms and legs, holding his head up to see what's going on around him, and scooting himself all over his crib. The beginning of spring has included many more visits with friends and family, the start of Baseball Season, Easter, a weekend trip to PSU, and Mommy's return to work. JD's 1 Month Update

JD's first month with us in the outside world has been great! We've enjoyed introducing him to so many friends and family members. Check out the "JD Meets" photo album to see who he has met! This month also included JD's first trip to Allentown, first trip to a Penn State Campus, a trip to Baltimore, and his first babysitting adventure with Grammy, PopPop, and Keegan. He also celebrated cousin Jack and Eli's birthdays via Webcam, girfriend Riley's baptism, his own"21st birthDAY" at Maggie O'Neills Irish Pub, and Grandpop's RETIREMENT! We are thrilled to welcome our new little boy! JD was born on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 7:32pm. He is named after many special men in our family, including his two favorite grandfathers.

We are looking forward to meeting our new addition! Estimated arrival is scheduled for Saturday 1/31. Will he or she stick to the game plan??
